Managers may be uncomfortable with not being able to "see" the telecommuter perform their job at first. This form allows telecommuters to plan their work load by setting goals, establishing deadlines and priorities, and determining what the deliverable is. It is highly recommended that this form (or a similar tool) be used by telecommuters and shared with their managers. Remote Work Requirements - One pitfall that many companies encounter is not providing their remote workers with the tools necessary for doing their jobs. This form is a way for telecommuters to justify the need for equipment. By determining the tasks being done, it takes the subjectivity out of the decision and gives telecommuters and managers a framework for discussion. Ergonomic Checklist - A handy list of things telecommuters should make note of to prevent injury. Home Office Inspection Form - A list of items a telecommuter should use to ensure that their work space if safe from hazards. Environmental Impact Chart - It is a known fact that driving alone in your car has a negative impact on the environment. This is one of the reasons why telecommuting is a great choice. This chart allows you to figure out just how much pollutant you and your car are putting into the air, as well as how much you are spending annually on your commute.
